TEAM Benchmark #7

This model solves the TEAM benchmark problem #7 ‘Asymmetric conductor with a hole’. It is a benchmark for the calculation of time harmonic eddy currents and magnetic fields that arise when an aluminium conductor is arranged asymmetrically over a multi-turn coil. The simulation results at certain positions in space are compared with measured data from the literature.

TEAM Benchmark #24

This example reproduces the TEAM problem #24 which serves as a benchmark to validate transient 3D non-linear magneto-quasistatic simulations. A test rig, similar to a switched reluctance machine (SRM) is considered. The rotor is fixed and a step voltage is applied. The resulting time-dependent coil-current and rotor torque calculated by FEEN are compared to measurements.
